I am 23, have been married nearly 3 years to a wonderful military man, and am pregnant with our first child, due April 5th. I am currently unemployed, though not for lack of trying. We also have two great cats, Mari (the girl) and Vengeance (the boy, pictured).
My husband is set to deploy within this week, and I am trying to retain a smile on my face despite it. We have made it through a deployment together before, but this is different. This time, he'll more than likely miss the birth of our first child, and not meet him/her until some time in August, when they are set to come back. We are not finding out the gender of our baby until birth, as he wanted a surprise. It is exciting not knowing.
Anyway, that's all I'll write for the moment. Today is a down day, hopefully tomorrow will be better.
